Jon Belanger

Jon Belanger is the Project Manager for the Prairie Adaptation Research Collaborative (PARC) where he supports project management, reporting and communications. Strategically based in Winnipeg, Jon also serves as the PARC liaison to ClimateWest and provides research and communication support. Jon earned his PhD in geography from the University of Guelph focused on soil moisture estimates for flood/drought management applications. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.). Before joining the PARC, he was very active in the fitness industry managing a gym and working as a personal trainer, and remains an advocate for health and wellness.
