Keynote Speaker Confirmed!
We are delighted to confirm our keynote speaker is Dr. Anna Warwick Sears, Executive Director of the Okanagan Basin Water Board. Since the historic floods of 2017 & 2018, the Okanagan Basin Water Board has been working with senior governments and local communities to map areas at future risk of flooding and to integrate them into local planning policies. Dr. Sears will discuss both the successes achieved and the valuable lessons learned during these collaborative efforts.
