Western Flood Mapping Conference

Conference Overview

Natural Resources Canada, ClimateWest and the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions have partnered to host the Western Flood Mapping Conference in Calgary, Alberta on February 19-20, 2025. The Western Flood Mapping Conference brings together invested parties from all related sectors and aims to address key challenges concerning flood hazard mapping methodologies specific to Western provinces and territories including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

This in-person event will be invaluable to ensure insights, opinions, and solutions can be discussed from a range of perspectives. The first day of the event will host a series of presentations from flood mapping practitioners and users.

Application Form

ClimateWest and the Conference Steering Committee invites your contributions in the form of abstracts to be a panelist or presenter at Day 1 of the Western Flood Mapping Conference.  Participation is free of charge. All travel and accommodation costs will need to be covered by you or your organization.

If you would like to submit abstracts under more than one conference theme, please submit separate application forms.

The deadline for abstract submission is November 15, 2024.
